Spengler wins heat race at nurburgring
At temperatures of 33 degrees in the air and 47 degrees on the asphalt, the canadian won the sixth round of the DTM season on sunday and shortened the gap to overall leader gary paffet to 20 points. "20 points behind paffett, that’s sensational", said spengler. "But we are keeping our feet on the ground. We should think only from race to race and continue to work hard. Then there may be a surprise at the end of the season."The DTM squad moves on to zandvoort as early as this monday, with the seventh round of the season taking place in the dutch coastal town as early as next sunday.
