Employment agency speaks of a historically favorable autumn
After the moderate rise in unemployment figures in august, the job market in the bayreuth-hof agency district, which includes the district of kulmbach, is taking off again after the summer break. The number of unemployed people fell markedly compared to the previous month.
Typically for the season, there are significantly fewer young unemployed people aged 15 to under 25 in particular. "Overall, the current decline in unemployment is even more dynamic than in the year before the pandemic", explains udo kolb, operational manager of the agency for work bayreuth-hof.
Even compared to the same month last year, the number of unemployed continues to fall significantly and is also below the comparative figure for september 2019 in the SGB III legal area. "Especially the situation of the young unemployed is historically favorable for the autumn compared to the past", kolb emphasizes.
With the current unemployment rate of 3.6 percent, the agency district has reached the level of september 2019.
Employers in the region reported 1310 new jobs in september. This is 13.0 percent less than in the previous month, but 9.9 percent more than in the same month last year.
Kulmbach is stable
The labor market in kulmbach remained stable. There was little change compared with the previous month. Unemployment rose minimally once again. There were 16 more people affected by unemployment than in august, but 207 fewer than in the same month last year.
In september, due to the start of school and training, there were again more registrations for work and training. On the other hand, there were initial reports of unemployment for seasonal reasons. Increasingly, the agency is being approached by customers, some of whom have massive health problems.
With 160 placement orders in september, the number of new jobs was roughly on a par with the previous month and the same month of the previous year. Since the beginning of the year, 1633 vacancies have been reported to the employer service, 380 more than in the same period of the previous year. The very good order situation in the larger manufacturing companies also led to a need for personnel, in some cases in very large numbers.
At the 31 st day. March 2021 were 28 251 men and women in employment subject to compulsory insurance in the district. This meant that 166 more people were employed than in 2020. With 124 more employees, the strongest growth was in the real estate and services sectors.
